The 2.17-mile-long project reconstructed and widened FM 2220 from Buddy Owens Blvd. (Mile 3) to Auburn Ave. (Mile 5) in McAllen, Texas. The project scope included storm drainage, grading, lime treatment, flexible base, asphaltic concrete pavement, raised median, curb and gutter, sidewalks and drainage structures.
IOC Company, LLC was the prime contractor on this project and finished ahead of schedule by 8 months and on budget.
