UP 281 consisted of rehabilitation of existing non-freeway roadway and was approximately 3.5 miles long. Including milling, grading, lime-treated subgrade, asphaltic concrete pavement, continuously reinforced concrete pavement, fast track concrete pavement, concrete curb, replacement of MBGF, and signing and pavement markings.
IOC Company, LLC was the prime contractor on this project placing over 5,300 tons of lime and 159,775 square yards of concrete pavement. IOC exceeded the tight schedule on this project and finished within budget.
